Mental Disorders

Hello to everyone! Today´s topic is about acupuncture and mental disorders. I have pick this topic, because a friend of mine, read my last post and he was very interested in what I wrote, so he propose to me that if a can talk about this topic, because he want it to know if acupuncture was able to cure mental or mood disorders, so here I am.
China´s religion is base in the power of the yin yan, that is based on your mood and the vibes you transmit, so in the Chinese religion there is not an actual mental disorder, because what make you feel bad is the imbalance of your energy.
What acupuncture does to cure this “diseases”, is that they treat the symptoms of the illness, like for example, if you feel depressed, your symptoms will be, that you don´t want to eat, you don´t want to go out, you have too many stress, and all your body hurts, you should go to the acupuncturist and they will insert the needless in the right places so all of the symptoms go away and you feel renew, but I insist they don´t treat the illness, they treat the symptoms.
Well guys that’s all for now, I hope you understand really what the acupuncture does with this kind of problems, and I am already thinking that my next post (next week) will be about the points were the needless are insert and what do they treat, so stay tune for next week, thank you all for your encouraging comments, I really appreciate them.

  1. Hey Ilse! I hope you're doing well. :) Thanks for considering my comment! I think it's very interesting that each culture has its own theories about the human soul, in this case the Yin Yang. In my opinion, part of our soul comes from our brain: All the thoughts we have inside and the way we make decisions. It's very interesting to think about our brain as a "container" full of chemicals that react with each other, and I think that how these chemicals react with each other can be modified by what we learn through experiences. I believe this is how our behavior is shaped. Sounds pretty crazy, huh? I'm loving your work Ilse, I can't wait to read your next article about where to the insert the needles to treat these symptoms you talk about. I’m wondering, does acupuncture has a relation to magnetism therapy? I don’t why I get the feeling it does; it would be really intriguing if you mentioned the topic briefly. Good luck and have a nice weekend!
