Acupunture Experience

Hi guys, I`m running out of ideas to blog about, so I decided to put the personal experience of a woman named Silvia Marta, I hope you enjoy it.

Silvia Marta is 55, works in the supervision of kindergartens in the department of La Paz, Catamarca. Your career takes her to be active all the time, adding to this that travels every weekend to the town of Chumbicha, where it is native.
Three years ago decided to practice acupuncture for neck ailments that caused further severe headaches. He went to his cardiologist who asked about your general health and recommended the practice of this technique that he himself performed.
For a month, three sessions of fifteen minutes, which we have proved beneficial to their health, although the treatment required was fifteen, "I did not finish it for work, however the results were excellent and gradually in the second or third sign discomfort disappeared, "he says.
This is not the only alternative therapy that has experienced. Marta highlights the benefits of ear "to me has helped bring the state of anxiety, affective, we minimized pulse and intolerant reactions." She believes that anything that helps people stay well emotionally or alleviate physical ailments are a good alternative to conventional therapy because it "gives other sensations from the inside makes you feel good."
The context in which these are being done are set with fragrances, music, everything is set up for relaxation, which is why "does not feel pain during the treatment." While these methods do not believe in traditional, believes that work in conjunction with traditional medicine, for it believes that "must be accompanied by the guidance of a medical professional."

Thank You

Hey! I hope you are all doing well; I am in a little rush, because I have so many things to do, so I will be quick. Also guys I must say that I am running out of thing to talk about, so if you want to know something in specific, tell me and I will investigate about it and write you  a post. Anyways, today I am going to talk about folliculitis and furunculosis, these are diseases that are treated by acupuncture.

The folliculitis is an inflammation of the orifice follicular and of his periphery because of bacterial infection. It develops sharply, with pain and sensation itchy and purulent secretion in scanty quantity. Of preference agree in the previous and later line of the hairs, in the neck, the face, etc. It is inclined to attack often. When it spreads around it and infiltrates into the deep of the skin, it turns in furunculosis. This one, besides taking place often in the mentioned areas, appears sometimes also in the head, the back and the hips. In a beginning it provokes such obvious symptoms as reddening, swelling, heat, pain, etc. In general, it breaks of for yes when it festers, but in some occasions it needs to be opened for the festering. (WordPress)

These diseases are treated with acupuncture, this means, that they insert needles in the head of the patient, so the needles can start to attack the problem and in treatment of about 7 to 10 sessions the problem will be solved.

Here is a picture of folliculitis:

Thanks you so much guys! :)

Parapsychology

Hello Everyone!! I hope you have been doing well, because this week for me was kind of relax, I pretty much didn’t make homework, and that felt very weird because I`m used to have homework every day, or at least have something to do for the next day, but I`m not going to lie, I love having no homework, and be able to watch TV or series in internet, or just simply sleep early, I think that´s the main accomplish I had in this week, but anyways, today I am going to write you about the parapsychology.
The scientific Parapsychology is a branch of psychology that studies the phenomena, "border" or limit. That is, it deals with those cases in which scientific methodology and research methods and technology known to date cannot provide adequate explanation or interpretation of science. (HISPAMAP)
It's evident the real existence of facts such as telepathy (transmission of thoughts or emotions at a distance), precognition or in general extra-sensory perception (receives or sends information through the five senses different from normal human). (HISPAMAP)
Acupuncture is a branch of parapsychology because parapsychology as psychological studies that human behavior can not explain and in some way of acupuncture helps relieves these phenomena due to pressure and relaxation of muscles that causes the needle to be inset into the body.
Thank you!

Acupuncture in Australia

Hey! What up! Well I hope you are all right after a tough week of exams, I had a really bad partial, but anyways we need to move on and bring it on in this third partial, so at the end we can have beautiful grades.

Today I’m thinking that it will be appropriate to talk about acupuncture in an specific place, like Australia, because in Australia there is totally different culture, that the one from China or any other Asian country, so I guess I had chose my topic of today.

The Chinese immigrants brought the acupuncture to Australia, and as they settle they also started to introduce their culture to the existed culture in Australia, so little by little the acupuncture took place in Australia.

As the time pass, the laws in Australia started to change, and as they did, the acupuncture needed to adjust, because the acupuncture can also harm the organism of any person, because of the problems the needless can do to the patient, this means, that if the needless are not sterilized, they could infect a patient, and so this will bring more problems to the person, that went to the acupuncturist because he/she had a problem.

Statistics say that the acupuncture is the third most practice activity in Australia as a therapy. This means that acupuncture is a settle practice, because of the amount of people that uses acupuncture as a way to recovery from a disease.

Acupuncture Points

Hey guys! How are you doing? I hope you´re doing well, for me this week has been kind of hard because I had a congress, and I was so busy, and next week would be harder because exams are starting, so I will be even busier, but anyways here I am, glad to write to you about the acupuncture points.

First of all I want to tell you what an acupuncture point is. An acupuncture point is a location in the body where the needle is inserting, and this point treats and different thing, I mean, each acupuncture point is use for a different problem.

Like I told you in the past post, the Chinese medicine is based in the energy of the ying, yang so the acupuncture points are insert in a certain points to relief the tension, and this system is called the meridian system. The Chinese medicine uses a measurement called cun, and is this measurement the one that locates each one of the points.

Points tend to be located where peripheral nerves enter a muscle, the midpoint of the muscle, or at the enthuses where the muscle joins with the bone.[6] Location by palpation for tenderness is also a common way of locating acupoints. Points may also be located by feeling for subtle differences in temperature on the skin surface or over the skin surface, as well as changes in the tension or "stickiness" of the skin and tissue.(Wikipedia)

I am going to present you a picture of all the acupuncture points in the body, so you can know each one of them.

Well guys thank you so much for your attention and I hope you enjoy my post and have a great weekend!

Mental Disorders

Hello to everyone! Today´s topic is about acupuncture and mental disorders. I have pick this topic, because a friend of mine, read my last post and he was very interested in what I wrote, so he propose to me that if a can talk about this topic, because he want it to know if acupuncture was able to cure mental or mood disorders, so here I am.
China´s religion is base in the power of the yin yan, that is based on your mood and the vibes you transmit, so in the Chinese religion there is not an actual mental disorder, because what make you feel bad is the imbalance of your energy.
What acupuncture does to cure this “diseases”, is that they treat the symptoms of the illness, like for example, if you feel depressed, your symptoms will be, that you don´t want to eat, you don´t want to go out, you have too many stress, and all your body hurts, you should go to the acupuncturist and they will insert the needless in the right places so all of the symptoms go away and you feel renew, but I insist they don´t treat the illness, they treat the symptoms.
Well guys that’s all for now, I hope you understand really what the acupuncture does with this kind of problems, and I am already thinking that my next post (next week) will be about the points were the needless are insert and what do they treat, so stay tune for next week, thank you all for your encouraging comments, I really appreciate them.

Infertility + Acupuncture = Baby!

Hi everyone! How you been? I hope everyone is good because partials are gone! These past days have been death, really I mean it, I´ve been having so much homework and projects, and studying for exams, week of death, but I am alive now. This time I am going to talk about how acupuncture can help with parents that want to have children, but unfortunately they can´t.
It´s have been proved that the practice of acupuncture to help get pregnant has been successful because what acupuncture does, is that it increases the blood flow to the endometrium, making possible the development of the zygote. (Berkely)
Researchers have found out that infertility symptoms like, unbalanced menstrual cycle and the early miscarriages, can be cure by the practice of acupuncture and by oriental herbs, because they regulate or balanced you menstrual cycle so you can know when it is appropriate to conceive and while you are pregnant it helps to maturate the egg, so the baby is in good conditions. (Ovulation- Calculator.com)
What Chinese doctors recommend is that you should start going to therapy, 3 to 4 months before the insemination o the natural conceive, so the mom´s body is already adapt to these medicines, and is also prepare for the sperm to get to the egg.

Statistics say:

Hi everyone, how are you doing? I´ve been pretty with tons of homework, but still I manage to give a break and dance and have fun; you too should give each other a time to relax and have peace, so we can continue with the quite harsh week of exams. Well today I am going to write about what the statistics say about acupuncture, what the people have responded to different surveys and with different purposes.
Many times we believe everything the people say, we just hear what my cousin or my neighbor told me and we go an experiment, instead of searching and make sure that what had been told is true and has a consistent background.
The founder of the Pulse of Oriental Medicine, Brian B. Carter, has investigate and found out as follows: “According to a small National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) survey (1), an estimated 10% of Americans have tried acupuncture, and of those who haven't, two-thirds would consider it. If true, this would mean about 30 million Americans have tried acupuncture, which is amazing, considering it's only been in the U.S. for 30 years, and there are only about 15,000 acupuncturists, many of whom have only been licensed in the last 10 years” (Carter). This statistics show a big number of Americans that believe in the Chinese culture and traditions, and demonstrates that little by little we are having a more intercontinental friendship.
“In 2001, Members for the British Acupuncture Council surveyed 132 acupuncture patients, and found that:
·   Their physical symptoms were relieves 75% of the time.
·   Their emotional and mental symptoms 67% of the time.}
·   In addition, 54% felt “inner life changes”
·    27% experienced “major life changes”
·   42% of the patients changed their reason for coming at some point during the course of their treatment” (Carter).
All this statistics show how the alternative medicine has been taking place all around the world, and how it has been getting more effective each time. We should start been part of this people that has chosen the alternative medicine, instead of the pills and injections, that maybe they cure but they also damage another organ.

 Thank you, Ilse Galván

Acupuncture´s History

Hey guys, how you´re holding up? Too much homework and projects right? Well I don´t know about you, but I´m pretty tired, and I´ve been very busy these couple of weeks… Well let´s get to what concerns us and that is what I am going to post here. Today I am going to tell you about the history of acupuncture, I know is boring but I think we should know more about from where does acupuncture comes.
Acupuncture started approximately 2000 years ago, and the first report of this practice is written in a medical text named Huangdi Neijing, that means, Yellow Emperor´s Inner Canon.
These technical began as warriors in their battles hurt themselves because of the arrow keys and needed to be cured, so they began to use stones with sharp-pointed in the woundsall this during the Shang dynasty.
Later with the passage of time and the new contributions to metallurgy, the stones were replaced with needles. After acupuncture was spread by all Korea, Japan and the East, and had a great boom in all these places.
Little by little this medicine was taking life elsewhere in the world such as Europe and America, however, advances in medicine have superseded this practice so it is these places is not so common practice as some others. This medicine was primarily influenced by the philosophy and Asian culture, so it is very practiced today and is used as a "therapy" with medications.

Here are some pictures about acupuncture´s history.

Acupuncture

Hi everyone! During this time (semester) I will be posting stuff about acupuncture, because I considered it a good method to decrease the amount of stress and to reduce pain, and also because is an alternative medicine, where you´re not forced to take any pills, and also I´ll be writing about this because is the topic I choose for my English class, I hope you like what I post.

Well, what is acupuncture? “Acupuncture is the practice of inserting thin needles into specific body points to improve health and well-being. It originated in China more than 2,000 years ago. American practices of acupuncture use medical traditions from China, Japan, Korea and other countries” (Medicine). Most of the time the acupuncture is use to relieve pain, to cure some kind of disease, stress and even for infertility.

Most of the people choose this kind of alternative medicine, because as I said before you don´t need to take any kind of pills to eliminate your pain since the needles are the ones who make this happen.

I will share a family experience. I have an aunt who had a problem in her back lumbar (lower back), then at times when for whatever reason he crouched, her back locked and she could not get up and the pain was so intense that she could not stop crying and could not move, then a relative or friend of hers recommended acupuncture and as she made an appointment and when she got to the place was hunched in pain, then they have laid the needles and let her sleep about 1 hour and when she wake up she got up and leave the place and with her back well and without any pain.
